****HOLLYE****
Hi Karen! Our first agility trial went really well, as you can see in the picture, Hollye got 8 Qs and 1sts, and 1 3rd (my fault, not hers

****SAILOR!***
The event was Breeze Thru Agility's CPE trial in Brattleboro, Vermont 11/24 and 11/25. This was our first-ever agility trial and we had a lot of fun. Sailor had 5 Q runs, 7 first places and 2 seconds. And most importantly, his tail never stopped wagging. Thanks, Trisha Flanagan & Sailor

***SPIKIE****

Spikie -- 5/9 Q's for the weekend, bringing my points total to 710 toward that 1,000 Point Award. =========================================================== Spikie says: May 2008 -- I really really am 14 yeas old now and have gathered 595 points toward my 1,000 Point award. =========================================================== Spikie Bo-Gee 3/1/08 -- At last Q'd in Jumpers to earn my Level 1 Specialist title. Not bad for a 13.8-yr old terrier who began competing last year!! ========================================================== Riverside CPE January 2008 -- Q'd in Wildcard, Full House and Jackpot, bringing me to seven of my eight needed Q's for my Level 1 title. I can do it!! ================================================== October 20, 2007 Bo-Gee CPE agility -- I started agility lessons last year at Fit-n-Trim, at 12 years of age. I attended my agility first trial in the spring. Last week while running at Bo-Gee I not only earned my first Q, I earned four of them, leaving only four more classes to Q for my title. Not bad for a 13-5 yr old terrier!   =================================================       All Dogs' Gym 9-10 August 2008 -- I earned eight out of eight Q's and won a Perfect Weekend Award with a ribbon bigger than I am. As I danced onto the Pause Table to earn that eighth and last weekend Q for Snooker, my total for Q-points simultaneously passed 1,000 points, hence I also earned the 1,000 Point Level Award (Level 1).

**BREXTON**

KRYPTO
Krypto -- finished my CPE/Level 2 title at Bo-Gee on Saturday 6/21, at last, by completing the nearby gamble for Jackpot. In my previous Jackpot I was NQ because I did the far gamble instead of the closer gamble required for my level. This time I succeeded because my person trotted backwards and away from the gamble line, which drew me toward the correct, nearby gamble obstacles. For the weekend, 7/9 Q's, despite the heat and humidity. =========================================================== Krypto says: May 2008 -- In April I reached 1,090 points and my 1,000 Point award. Now at Level 2, I've gathered 15 of the 16 Q's for my Level 2 Title. ========================================================== Krypto Bo-Gee 3/1/08 -- Earned 3 Q's/1st place and have 975 points toward the 1000 Point Level award. =========================================================== Riverside CPE January 2008 My latest quallies bring me to 730 points toward the 1,000 Point Level Award. Crikey!! ========================================================== October 20, 2007 Bo-Gee -- Four Q's adds to 595 points toward my 1,000 Point Award. ===========================================================At Ruff Agility I Qualified and came in First Place in four out of four games. I've amassed over 500 points toward my 1,000 Point award!! =========================================================== Krypto says -- Gemini Dogs, August 25/26 2007 Q's in 6/7 games, with 1st and 2nd places, despite the heat. I've collected 435 points!------------ June 30-July1, All Dogs' Gym, CPE -- from Krypto's diary -- My dash to the 1.000 Point Level 1 award continues with Full House (1st Place), Snooker (3rd Place) and Jackpot (4th Place) ===========================================================From Krypto’s diary – June 23, 2007 BoGee at Deerfield, NH, I qualified in three games today. In Jackpot I had a big 51 points partly because my person had me do the teeter twice (the “Big Bang”) and the dogwalk twice. I also finished the jackpot section in4 seconds under the course time. Not only did that put me in first place, but it also completed my Level 1 title, with zero faults in all my eight Q’s. My, what an enormous, magnificent ribbon I got for that! I also performed qualifying runs in the two Standard courses, winning third and first place ribbons. Big kelpie hugs to my instructors for encouraging me to go to competition, where I’ve become less shy each trial, and was comfortable enough yesterday to sleep while we were waiting near the entry gate for our run. ================================================= May 19, 2007 we drove to Granby, MA for the SoBad (Southern Berkshire Agility Dog) CPE trial in drenching rain. I Q’d in FullHouse with zero faults and placed 2nd, not more than a few tenths of a second behind the speedy 1st place dog, yippee I’m getting speedier at trials. I then Q’d in Standard, also with zero faults and 10 seconds under course time, which placed me 1st!! That leaves only one more Q to go – Jackpot, which will complete my Level 1 requirements. =========================================================== From Krypto’s Diary, April 29, 2007 – Today I had two great runs at the Bo-Gee Agility trial at Deerfield Fairgrounds in Deerfield, NH, even in the rain with my handler quite damp in her first rainy event. In Standard I earned my Q and 3rd place with zero faults, with we top three dogs whisker-and-nose close in time. And in Jumpers where I sailed through in 11 seconds under course time I merited a Q with zero faults and 1st place! ______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ALL DOGS GYM CPE TRIAL 1/14/07 1. Jackpot, N/Q, 2nd place -- one misstep at the end, after succeeding at the difficult part of the jackpot. Although Krypto was nervous during the first run, it was my fault for not reserving some running space to impart oomph to her for travel outward and over the last hurdle of the jackpot. 2. Snooker, Q, 2nd place -- Krypto was the first of the few who tried the simplest path through the opening, a serpentine of interwoven red/non-red jumps. I had to choose the direct path because of Krypto's speed limit. 3 . Jumpers, N/Q, 4th place -- Krypto went off-course when someone started playing with a loud squeaky toy (she has no interest in squeaky toys at home, so perhaps she thought her pal Spikie had arrived and went to find her)! I recalled her and we finished the class, well faulted for over time. Three games made too long a day for her anyway; in the future =========================================================== Riverside K9 CPE 24 Feb. 2007 Colors – Being still wound up from the ride I loped trickily around the first scary-looking jump, which was set at a Himalayan 16-inch altitude. Our person wrapped me back around to the front of the hurdle and encouraged me to jump. I did. Same routine for the next jump and the next obstacle, the tire, too! Smiled at the judge whom I spied from atop the A-frame. Trudged forward relentlessly and more important, accurately, to finish the run, as Karen wisely taught us that we should always try to finish. Our person felt sure that we had run out of time. Results – Q, No Faults, 4 seconds under course time, 2nd place. Lessons learned – Karen is correct; always try to finish the course, even if our person thinks the clock has expired. And, never trust our person’s sense of time, especially in the arena. Get our person to order a Transporter Beam for travel to and from agility trials. Wildcard – Much calmer in the now-familiar arena, especially after quality-checking by sampling the inventory of snackies available as rewards for a starving kelpie agility athlete, who was as smooth and glorious as sunshine on a warm Spring day. Accurate. Results – Q, No Faults, 15 seconds under course time, 1st place.

CHARLIE CHARLIE

Charlie has finally done it. He has his AKC NAJ title and has another leg towards his NF and NS titles after earning three blue ribbons and a red for his four Qualifying runs in Topsfield on September 7th and 8th. I didn't have to say "Charles" even once.

BRANDY + CODY
ALL DOGS GYM CPE TRIAL 1/14/07 Just thought I'd let you know Brandy Qued in every class and Cody had 3 Ques and 3 NQ because of handler error, though I learned from each mistake Cody is checking out other handlers.

TWIST
ALL DOGS GYM, 12/31/06 Twist,"Blue But No Q" . Greyhounds are a blast, but talk about unguided missiles! My biggest job is to get the track demons out of his head that tell him to zoom in the middle of a course and then get back and finish it, often exactly where he left off... How weird to have the fastest breed in the world and be worrying about time faults!!!

ZOEY!
Seastar’s Burgundy Zoey CD, RA, CGC, CL1 proudly handled by Lauren Cramer had a fantastic weekend at the CPE agility trial at Riverside Canine Center January 27-28th. Not only did she Q in all 8 runs but she received 1st place 3 times, 2nd place 3 times and 4th place 2 times. Best news is she received Trial High Score besting over 100 dogs! Thanks to our trainer Paige and all the support we get from our classmates.

*** NARI ***
Nari's approach to agility is mirrored in her approach to life, "Everything with great passion and enthusiasm!" Last weekend we attended our third CPE trial receiving our second Q in standard to complete our level 1 title. A special Thanks to our kind patient trainer Paige for all of her wonderful help and feedback, especially the introduction of the "down-stay!" We look forward to wonderful, fun times ahead!

***AVA***
Ava had 2 Qs and I scratched her from the remaining classes because she seemed to favor a rear leg.] ========================================================== Ava (no photo yet) Bo-Gee 3/1/08 -- This trial was my debut and I Q'd in Jumpers! Thank you to my first teacher Jennifer!!
