Ash had his first CPE Agility Trial on April 25/26.
He Q'd in 4 of his 8 runs. He earned 1st in Colors, 1st in Full house, 3rd in Standard, and 4th in Wildcard, even though he didn't Q. I am so proud of Ash. He surpassed all of my expectations. I was so worried that he would run out of the ring, and he never did. I want to thank Jen Johnson for all of her help over
the weekend and making my first trial a ton of fun (and a lot less stressful than I thought it was going to be).
I also wanted to thank the FNT family for cheering Ash and I on.

Charlie is in AKC Excellent in Standard, Jumpers and FAST. He has come a long way since that first run at Topsfield. He also recently earned his USDAA AD title at BARK. Would you believe he is now the Welsh Terrier ranked 7th in the US? Yes, I know there are not very many Welsh Terriers competing...but then that in itself says something about his accomplishment. I still never now whether I have Charlie or Chuckie at a trial...but that's all part of the fun.

JAKE — Rosemary Decie
Gemini April 2011 – Jake gets his C-ATCH!
CPE 2009 Nationals — Jake did very well with 6 Q's out of 9 runs and 2 - 4th places (Standard and Wildcard on the first day). The Jackpot was extremely difficult with only a handful of dogs completing it. Of course Jackpot was one of the Q's we missed along with the last Standard run (he had an off course) and Snooker. My fault in Snooker as he back jumped. All in all I think he did very well for his first National competition! :)
BoGee 4/25-26 Jake completed CPE Level 3 and we are working on Level 4. We had one Standard L-3 run left on Sunday 4/26 to complete his L-4 title. He did everything perfectly-even the poles. So at 9.5 years old he is a CPE L-4 and qualified for CPE Nationals.
We did complete L-2 & 3 in just over 1 year (3/08-4/09), as we started competing in CPE in March 2008. He did complete L-3 with the last Standard run on Sunday 4/26.

She competed in three runs in Level 1: Colors, Jackpot, and Standard. She received 2 Q's in Colors and Standard and placed FOURTH in both as well. She would have Q'd in Jackpot, if not for a "human" mistake. She was awesome and blew me away. Not too shabby for the "Pokey Little Puppy" who is afraid of crowds and noise.
Thanks to Jen for all your patience and training and to all from FNT who cheered us on that day.
